Pumpkin and Bacon Miso Soup

Sweet pumpkin comes with a savor of bacon in this miso soup.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Small pumpkin 1/4
Bacon 4 pieces
Sliced green onion 1 tablespoon
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the pumpkin into slightly large cubes. Cut the bacon into 2-cm pieces.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the pumpkin and bacon. After the pumpkin and bacon are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil only for a moment.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the sliced green onion sprinkled.

★ A Note

Even if pumpkin is dissolved and mixed with miso, the miso soup tastes delicious.
