Potato, Onion and Bacon Miso Soup

Children enjoy sweet new onion and fluffy potato in this miso soup.

Ingredients (4 servings)

Onion 1/2
Potato 1
Bacon 2 pieces
Konegi (Thin green onion) 2 stalks
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

(Fresh-packed, Additive-free, Low-salt Mixed Miso)

Directions

  1. Slice the onion. Cut the potato into half circles and the bacon into proper sizes. Cut the konegi to 2 ~ 3-cm length.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the onion, potato and bacon. After the ingredients are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the konegi sprinkled.

Bacon adds a good taste to this miso soup.
