Goosefish, Chinese Cabbage and Turnip Miso Soup

This miso soup is full of sweet Chinese cabbage (hakusai) and turnip and light-tasting but savory goosefish (anko).

Ingredients (4 servings)

Anko 100 g
Hakusai 1 leaf
Turnip 1
Dashi stock 800 cc
Miso 3-1/2 tablespoons

Directions

  1. Cut the anko into proper sizes and shave the hakusai thickly. Peel the turnip thickly and cut into chunks.
  2. Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the anko, hakusai and turnip. After the ingredients are cooked, dissolve the miso and boil for a moment.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls.

This miso soup of anko in season with hakusai and turnip is very tasty.
