Ikiteru Kyushu-san Mutenka Awase Aka
(Living, Kyushu-grown, Additive-free Red Mixed Miso)

Directions

  1. Remove the seeds and pulp from the shiro-goya and cut into semicircular slices. Cut the SPAM into about 5-mm slices and chop the green chili finely.
  2. Boil the shiro-goya and SPAM in the dashi stock. After the ingredients are cooked, lower the heat and dissolve the miso.
  3. Serve the miso soup in bowls with the green chili sprinkled.

★ A Note

Shiro-goya is less bitterer than popular ordinary green goya.
